wednesday 1/11: i’ve done some errands already today, had a wonderful quiet time and lunch and am just about to do some reading and revamping my resume/cover letter. presently the forecast says that we will have 5-8 inches of snow in the next 24-36 hours. and to that i say, i’m not ready for you winter. sick! what if that happens?!
you know, we don’t really know why the Lord has placed us here, but we keep praying that He would lead and direct our days. we know that He has a plan for us and that we will bring him glory. i keep praying for expectancy in the Lord’s working. he WILL use us for His glory. and i can’t wait to be a part of that! it is exciting. yes, i’m sure we will have a lot of funny transition stories, some complaints about things (the size of our kitchen), and we’ve come to recognize what’s really important to us, but ultimately we are here because we have been called. we are supposed to be here for some reason, a reason we may never know. but, we have been led and we have to ultimately be faithful to how the Lord leads.
enjoying the journey and in illinois for more than a visit,
